Fall Soccer Classes

We're at the tail end of Summer and Fall classes are already being filled. New this Fall: Fairfield Tuesday classes return. We have had a demand for the return of Fairfield Tuesday classes and so we delivered. Not to worry if Friday works better. We are still keeping Fairfield Fridays. Most programs begin late August to early September. Even if your child is playing in a fall league, let him/her develop and have fun through classes during the week. Links Below.

Are you coaching this Fall?

Fall is typically the soccer season and most youth outdoor soccer is played during these months. If you have volunteered to coach, you have a big role in the development of soccer in our country. Unlike any other sport, soccer is meant to be a free flowing sport with little interruption from the sideline. So if you're coaching, try to keep yelling and coaching to a minimum during the game. For most of the kids playing in the league, this is the only exposure to soccer they have all year. Let them make mistakes and learn through pressure free play. Visit our resources section on our site to learn more regarding soccer milestones and coaching tips. Good luck this season and have fun!

A new era in U.S. Soccer begins

Bob Bradley was relinquished as head coach of the US National Men's team. Replacing him is the international world champion iconic German born Jurgen Klinsmann. Klinsmann was head coach for the German Men's national team in 2006 and was criticized by the Germans for not living in Germany. He lives in Southern California and has made California his home for more than a decade. We are sure glad he is here. He will bring a fresh international player perspective to the game that Bob Bradley did not have. Klinsmann knows the game and knows the profession from a European perspective. More than 75% of the national team plays outside the MLS. Klinsmann evokes knowledge, perspective, passion, and respect in every aspect of the game. His first game as head coach will be against Mexico in a friendly filled with rivalry. Don't miss it. August 10th 6pm (Univision or ESPN2)
