Just4Kicks would like to wish you and your family a great Holiday Season.

2010 was a big year for soccer and a great year for Just4Kicks. It was a World Cup year and Spain became a World Cup Champion for the very first time. The San Jose Earthquakes made the Playoffs for the first time since it's restructuring and new ownership. Just4Kicks had over one thousand registered participants in our classes and camps in 2010. We introduced an Adult 5 v. 5 League in the summer and introduced the City of Woodland to our summer programs. We also tweaked class times to accommodate dual working families and reduced class sizes. Just recently we finalized the 2011 Spring Soccer League in Vacaville. Next year we look forward to our new Just4kicks league and the introduction to adult pick-up soccer in Vacaville. Soccer is our passion and we hope to keep sharing it with you in the new year. Our goals for the new year include growing our lead coach roster with experienced, fun, and passionate coaches. We will work hard to grow our programs in the cities of Davis, Dixon, and Woodland. We will offer a spring soccer camp in Benicia and will again offer summer camps in Vacaville. Your feedback is always welcomed and encouraged. We love to brag about our programs with testimonials from parents. Click here to write one now :)

New
Spring Soccer League

The best of both worlds. Just4Kicks approach and vision along with the excitement and fun of a recreational league. Spring 2011 we will launch our very own youth soccer league for youth 7-12 y/o. We know what it should look like and our experience allows us to create a recreational league for the beginner or experienced player. This isn't your typical soccer league. View our league FAQ page to learn more about 5 v. 5 soccer. The benefits of small-sided soccer are widely recognized as more and more soccer organizations internationally adopt it. small-sided soccer is played with fewer players on the field than traditional formats. There is tremendous benefits from 5 v. 5 soccer including:
  • With less players on the field, each child has more opportunities to touch the ball, using and improving their soccer skills.
  • With less players on the field, "bunchball" is much less likely to form. The platform for optimal learning and fun is created through the 5 v. 5 format.
  • All players have the role of offense and defense. No more standing back waiting for the ball. All players have a much higher scoring opportunity and exposure to true soccer.

Just4kicks Winter Session

Soccer does not stop in winter and we don't live in the Midwest, so why not? Our 6 week winter session is short enough to bear and keeps your child's "touch" in development, so don't hibernate. If it rains we cancel and extend the program. You will always have an outdoor activity when it's nice out. We stay outdoors primarily for one reason. With flat turf or gym floors you get half the touches on the ball than natural grass. For young players it's all about repetitive touches. Winter classes now open for registration.
