JUST4KICKS SOCCER
FAIR PLAY PROGRAM

“MY GAME IS FAIR PLAY”

Fair Play Kids

JUST4KICK’S HAS THE RIGHT MESSAGE, COACHING PHILOSOPHY, TALENT, AND CULTURAL DIVERSITY TO DELIVER AN IMPACTING PROGRAM THAT TEACHES LIFE SKILLS ON AND OFF THE FIELD.

FAIR PLAY IS AN INTERNATIONAL SOCCER MODO CREATED BY FIFA (INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION OF FOOTBALL), THE TEN FAIR PLAY CODES ARE USED AS A CODE OF ETHICS FOR NOT ONLY SPECTATORS AND YOUTH PLAYERS BUT PROFESSIONAL PLAYERS WORLD WIDE.

WE USE THIS AS OUR GUIDE AND PLATFORM TO MOLD BEHAVIOR AND CHARACTER ON AND OFF THE FIELD.

“CHARACTER FIRST SKILL SECOND”

FAIR PLAY TOPICS:

TRUST-EVERYTHING BEGINS WITH TRUST

Trust is the biggest key issue with at risk youth. Our staff not only understands the issues youth face regarding trust but have lived through them themselves. Through activities with and without a ball we achieve not only their trust but trust within their peers and most importantly themselves. This is sometimes the most challenging but most important topic of our curriculum.

THEIR YOUR FEET (SELF CONTROL)

Just like in a soccer game your role on the field is crucial to the overall impact your team will have in winning. Their your feet and only you can control them. Similarly, off the field each child’s attitude and behavior is theirs and no one else’s. We teach them to own their behavior and how complicated this tends to be when we are not sure of our roles and responsibilities.

SOCCER WITHOUT BARRIERS

Soccer without barriers means soccer without racism, name calling, down talking, and any other behavior that limits our ability to learn and achieve success. We are strict and serious regarding this topic and make sure that participants acknowledge their understanding that they prefer a learning environment without barriers!

SELF ADVOCACY

“help me I am on your team” or better put “let me help you I am on your team” Through structured activities with and without a ball we enhance the understanding and the acceptance of needing help and that it is essential to ask for it , demand it, and advocate for yourself, your peers, and your community. These are the essential steps to self sufficiency!
